The Pink Cockatoo is such a beautiful bird and it just called out to m to be painted. I love birds and I love pink so the Pink Cockatoo covers all of these for me, plus I love adding texture. I have used a combination of brush work and palette knife work on this piece. There is lots of lovely texture in the feathers and on the branch The Major is sitting on. I love the combination of the colours in this piece. It is such a lovely statement piece.
